Caryn and Martin bought the store from Tammy in early 2014. A longtime customer, Caryn’s been knitting and crocheting since her Grandma gave her some yarn in the 1960s.
Mostly self-taught, she took her first classes at Yarnivore back in Melanie’s day and learned to knit toe-up socksfrom Wendy. Caryn can do a little bit of everything but is known for her lace.
We'll demonstrate (in class) how to complete the block including cutting and piecing instructions.
Three Bags Full offers classes to promote knitting and crochet skills. We highly encourage your purchasing yarn and supplies here. We hope you will choose to support our shop.
Learn to knit tubes on straight needles! This fascinating technique can be used to make open tubes such as glove fingers or mitten thumbs without having to work in the round. We'll even make a double-knit pocket!
Accomplish Quilting Staff and special guest teachers offer a whole array of classes, training and events. We pride ourselves in the quality and experience of our instructors. Some are staff while others are celebrity and "of special note" instructors.
Students will learn: knit stitch, purl stitch, cast on, bind off, knitted ribbing, seed stitch, and methods to increase and decrease stitches. They will use these skills to make simple fingerless mitts. This class is for anyone who has never knitted or wants a refresher on basic skills.
