If you've already taken our Introduction to the Sewing Machine Class you might be asking WHAT'S NEXT?! Well... this is it! In this Beginner level class, we'll work our way through sewing a tote bag from start to finish. You'll learn basic sewing techniques along the way (choosing fabric, cutting your pieces, constructing your project, adding details, and finishing your tote bag) and have the chance to customize your project to make it uniquely you!
We'll meet three times for two hours each and all sewing materials are included. You can work on our studio machines (Brother CS6000i) or bring your own machine to work on.

Learn to create your own zippered pouch! Jen Laursen of Tilt Leather will guide you through the process of constructing your pouch in your choice of leather color (tan, black, metallic, hand-marbled... the choice is yours).
This class requires completion of the Beginning Sewing Class or prior sewing experience. It will build on information and techniques taught in the Beginning Class.
Join us the first Wednesday evening of the month to work on the current month's row for the Traverse BOM! The evening will begin with a demo on how the block/row goes together with tips for success, and participants can then stay and work on the row if they wish.
