Introduction
We want everyone who supports us, or who comes to us for support, to feel confident and comfortable with how any personal information you share with us will be looked after. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use and store your personal information (this means any information that identifies or could identify you).
Here at Mind in Mid Herts (MiMH’s), we are committed to protecting your personal information and making every effort to ensure that your personal information is processed in a fair, open and transparent manner.
We are a “data controller” for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (“Data Protection Law”). This means that we are responsible for the processing of your personal information.
This course is intended for anyone lacking confidence in themselves or having difficulty in communicating with others. Be it in a meeting, or a one to one basis, you may feel “put upon” or just find it hard to say “no”.
I have a qualification in training delivery and have delivered various courses and workshops, including Counselling Skills.
This course concentrates on developing the knowledge and skills required to project a positive and self-assured image and how to use assertiveness to build rapport and gain co-operation.
This course is designed to introduce you to the skills and techniques of being confident, assertive and the ideas that underpin them.
Assertiveness is one of many communication styles. Understanding the factors behind a chosen communication style helps to develop a greater appreciation for how others perceive you, and how your style can be adapted to handle situations more effectively.
