Everything used to make the cake is vegan.
Recipes will be provided to take home along with extensive notes and guidance. You will also take home a cute 6-inch cake that you've decorated yourself. All materials will be provided.

Jesmond Cake Company is a 100% vegan cake company based in Newcastle upon Tyne. It has been set up by Kate Emmett, who has many years of cake decorating experience.
There is no dairy or egg used in any of our products or in the kitchen at all, but occasionally bought-in products such as chocolate and biscuits have a "may contain" warning. This is generally deemed suitable for a vegan diet; however, it is not suitable for people with severe dairy or egg allergies.
The kitchen handles nuts and other allergens including wheat, soy, peanuts, nuts, sesame, celery, and mustard. Procedures are in place to prevent cross contamination but our cakes are not suitable for people with severe allergies.
We're proud to say that we have been awarded the highest score - 5 - on the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme by Newcastle City Council.
Each session starts with everyone cooking together and then we enjoy a snack and have some time to play whilst the food cooks. Everything you create will be packaged up for the cooks to take home and proudly share!
