Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives after a sudden cardiac arrest. BLS Course has been designed for healthcare providers and trained first responders who provide care in pre-hospital settings, hospitals or in other in-facility settings.
They need BLS certification or CPR HCP level certificate to enter into a healthcare-related training program and/or to get an employment in health-related workplaces.This is the course commonly referred to as CPR ( HCP) level course.
In this program, you will learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality chest compressions, deliver ventilation, and the early use of an AED.
This course teaches adult, child, and infant rescue techniques as a single-rescuer and multi rescuer situations. In addition, you will learn BLS skills for code blue situations in hospitals and other in-facility settings.
The BLS provider course is an instructor-led video-based program which includes realistic scenarios, simulations, and state-of-the-art animations, according to 2015 guidelines.
At the completion of the training, the participant’s knowledge and skills will be evaluated through a mandatory written exam and a skills test. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an email that provides access to their BLS Provider e-Card.
This electronic proof of course completion can be accessed directly online, downloaded or printed for convenience. The certificate is valid for one year period from the date of issue.
The BLS provider needs to follow a renewal course before the certificate expires.
BLS Blended Course
Recently we started BLS program with a Online component and a Practical Course. When you register for Blended Course and pay the fees, we will send you an access key for the online course.
After completion, you will get a certificate. Within 90 days you need to attend the practical class to get the BLS Provider Certificate.
Our CPR classes are conducted in London, Ontario. We conduct different levels of CPR courses for professionals and students in London.
Although we locate in London, we get students from Brampton, Toronto, Burlington, Kitchener, Guelph, Sarnia, St. Thomas, Windsor, Chatham and many other cities in Ontario.
Our classes are popular among nurses, nursing students, medical students and practicing physicians because we conduct small group sessions in which we give full attention to each student.
All our participants are highly satisfied about the training sessions because they actually learn the skills not just receiving a CPR certificate.
The instructor is a former Registered Medical Officer who has 23 plus years of experience in practicing medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics in government hospitals in Sri Lanka.
His specialization is Public Health and his clinical research interests include infectious diseases in correctional facilities (Prisons), smoking prevention and occupational health hazards.
He was the Executive Director for Quit Smoking Ontario Inc. from 2012 till 2017. At present, he is practicing as a nurse in London, Ontario and a trained BLS Instructor for Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
In addition, he is a certified mask fit tester.He had saved hundreds of lives of infants, children, and adults during his medical career by using emergency life-saving skills.
He wishes to use his experience and knowledge in order to provide Canadian standard high-quality CPR training to participants as a CPR Instructor in Canada.
BLS CPR is for individuals who are working in the Health Care field and require the Health Care Provider level of CPR. The course includes all CPR skills plus advanced skills such as artificial respiration and the use of bag valve masks and AEDs.

BLS for Health Care Providers was designed for those with a duty to respond and deliver CPR and AED skills using a team approach to cardiac arrest management, and to better support health care providers in their practice.
