Body Massage City & Guilds Level 3 Award

This Level 3 study programme will focus on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required as a massage therapist, and will prepare you for progression into industry. You will learn how to consult with clients along with developing a variety of skills and techniques.

Gaining this qualification will provide better employment opportunities to work in the industry. We offers a high street salon experience with external clients for assessments, building skills and confidence.

Grade requirements…

• Evidence of working at GCSE grade 3 (D) and above or

• Any Level 2 qualification

Other requirements…

• A good standard of written and spoken English to allow for study and competence for the online examinations.

Desirable:

• It is also desirable that you have good people skills that enhance working with clients

What qualification will I gain?

City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Body massage.

How will I be assessed?

• Ongoing practical assessments throughout the duration of the course for the practical element of the programme

• Online end of unit exams and assignments

Course progression:

You can progress onto further qualifications e.g. Level 2 Beauty Therapy

Career progression:

Working as a massage therapist in the industry.  Once fully qualified up to Level 3, career paths include working in salons, in spas, or being self -employed and running their own business.
