Body Massage Course

This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional body massage and includes practical training sessions and assessments. Performing a Body Massage treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing holistic treatment designed to encourage a feeling of well being, improve circulation and reduce pain.

The GTI Body Massage course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also convers anatomy & physiology, contra indications, skin conditions, preparing for treatment, massage techniques and a full body massage routine.

The GTI Body Massage Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body. The theory is made up of the following online exams “Professional Standards” and “Anatomy & Physiology”. Students will be required to complete the theory online in the comfort of your own home prior to attending the practical element here at Pure Bliss Therapies.

Six of the modules will be demonstrated and assessed at Pure Bliss Therapies by teacher Jenny Diment. You will have the opportunity to practice routine on your family and friends.

You will need to complete 5 case studies with 2 treatments each. On successful completion of the online theory, practical course and case studies, students will receive GTI Award in Body Massage.
