This course facilitates your understanding of manual bookkeeping so this can be applied to computerised accounts systems, such as Sage. Learn about the fundamentals of double-entry bookkeeping and management reporting from the basics up to completing a Bank Reconciliation.
It may also be of value for those students who are studying the AAT Access Award in Accounting Software in order to develop a deeper understanding of the theory behind the practical skills they are gaining.
Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping students must study Introduction to Bookkeeping first, before starting Principles of Bookkeeping Controls.
You do not need any prior accounting knowledge as this course will give you a solid background in single entry bookkeeping. We would recommend that you first studied the Access Award in Business Skills or appropriate business experience.
