Course Details

The boom lifts are among the most versatile pieces of equipment in the industry. They are used to access almost every part of a high-rise building and can be used in a variety of different settings, including construction sites, power installations, factories, etc.

The course also includes tips on how to work at heights. It is recommended that each person who will be working with or around a boom lift should be certified or have at least participated in a boom lift training course.

This will ensure that everyone is well versed in the safety fundamentals and practices needed to work with this type of equipment.

The boom lift is an essential piece of machinery for the construction industry, but the skills required to operate it are not something that is taught at school or can be learned from a book.

If you intend on working in this industry, then you will need to come in for some extensive training, which is exactly what DENOTECH is here to provide.Making sure that our trainees are both physically and mentally prepared for their future in the field is our number one priority.

By encouraging the trainees to learn through hands on experience, we enable them to get to grips with the equipment sooner than they would otherwise.

Furthermore, this makes it easier for them to adapt to any environment in which they may find themselves in. The Boom Lift Training course consists of 2 modules, Module 1 and Module 2. Both modules will take up approximately 40 hours each and include simulated training scenarios that will expose the students to realistic situations.

Module 1 will last for three days and will cover how to set up the boom lift tower, how to safely climb the tower and how to use its various functions.

Module 2 will last for four days and will include how to drive the boom lift using direct line of sight, how to drive it using mirrors and how to use all of the safety equipment in place to make sure that accidents do not happen.
