During school term time, our office is open 9am - 9pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays and Fridays, we are open 9am - 3pm. Once a month we are open for a weekend programme of courses. During school holidays we are open for limited hours.
The aim of the programmes is to work alongside employees providing opportunities to actively participate in their role and interact with others to further develop the skills they need to meet the demands of your workplace.
Our Workplace Literacy and Numeracy programme is tailored to meet the needs of your employees and company. We assess which areas your employees need support in and create a strategy to help them overcome any barriers within your company context.
Workplace literacy and numeracy refer to all the reading, writing, speaking, listening, numeracy and problem-solving skills an individual needs to do their job effectively.
Literacy and numeracy skills can impact staff performance and business success. We design and deliver workplace programmes customised to suit your team, using real examples from their work roles.
We believe that all children and adults in New Zealand have the right to evidence-based literacy education. The most effective way to learn to read and spell is with a systematic and evidence-based structured teaching approach.
