The student will go beyond simply punching the bag or mitts. They will practice advanced techniques: strategy, shadow boxing, offense, defense, countering, footwork, angling,, & work ethic.
Sparring is offered but not required for this class. This class occurs twice per week,, and the other two days’ focus is on technique & conditioning. Sparring is an important element of boxing to see if the student is grasping the advanced techniques.
The students have the opportunity to compete in sanctioned USA boxing events once the coaches see that the boxer is fit to compete.
Training like a professional boxer is the ultimate workout! The student will be working on improving their boxing skills while at the same time getting their body into the best shape of their life!
At Cali Boxing & Fitness we think differently than other gyms in regard to fitness. There is not only one way of working out, which is why we offer the variety of classes that we do. Cardio is not the only method to weight loss.
The equipment required for the cardio classes are simple: heavy bags, gloves, mitts, timer, music and friends. You’ll get a workout that doesn’t miss a spot: a 1,000-calories-an-hour cardio bomb, the ultimate body toner.
The concept is unique in that it teaches basic boxing/kickboxing techniques at an intense pace while offering a full-body workout. Classes are taught in a group setting to boost participation and intensity.
For the Strength & Conditioning classes, the goal is to get strong, lean, & powerful. We will be utilizing the weight room that is equipped with bumper plates, dumbbells, kettle bells, barbells, rower, plyo boxes, TRX ropes, and more. This program will assist you in building strong lean muscles, developing power and losing fat.
The class takes a unique approach to strength & conditioning to make the class fun, while challenging your body in ways it not used to. The classes are taught in a group setting to create unity and friendly competition!
All classes are scheduled at convenient times throughout the week to fit even the busiest person’s schedule.

Our boxing and strength class is a dynamic fusion of two powerful disciplines. For the first 30 minutes, you’ll dive into the art of boxing, where you’ll refine your technique, work the bags, and unleash your inner fighter.
The Rumble Boxing Intro class is perfect for first-timers to experience the Rumble workout in a small group setting. You’ll start with a studio tour to meet our trainers, staff, and state-of-the-art custom equipment.

Boxing Classes isn offered by James Shuler Boxing Gym. On every wall, there are murals of past fighters and team members, including Shuler himself, who have earned their place in this gym's and the boxing world's history. The gym's largest mural honors the team that started the gym back in 1993.
