45 minutes of technique and drills that may include empty-hand training as well as weapons, cage work, and the Mook Jong (Wing Chun dummy). No previous experience required; all skill levels are welcome
Our mission is to provide martial arts and fitness training for everyone in an inclusive and fun environment.
We are dedicated to teaching and training martial arts with everyone, regardless of size or skill level. Most importantly, we believe everyone should be able to train MMA without dealing with sexism, homophobia, transphobia, racism, xenophobia, or misogyny.
What Makes Us Unique?
Train: We offer kickboxing, grappling, and MMA classes for beginners as well as experienced fighters; weightlifting and conditioning sessions that accommodate any fitness level; and Kali, a Filipino tribal art known for its brutal efficacy.
Fight: We encourage everyone to push themselves at an appropriate level, which could mean simply taking yourself out of your comfort zone by trying a new class, or working for a physique goal.

Price: We keep our prices low because we love what we do, and we want to share it with you! We do not use contracts or sign-up fees.
Time: Walk in the door, learn some cool stuff, get a great workout in less than an hour, and then head home.
Quality: Our classes include skill-building and technique, with options for advanced training and application.
Quantity: We offer classes weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Train as many or as few classes as you want.
Who Are We?
TFW has a small group of dedicated coaches and owners, all of whom coach as ‘volunteers.’ All of us have full-time jobs outside of the gym, but spend the rest of our time at TFW because we absolutely love it!
Coach L.A. Jennings:
Owner, Founder, Head Striking Coach. Teaches Kickboxing, MMA and Conditioning. Over 20 years of martial arts experience, including Chinese kickboxing, Muay Thai, Boxing, Kali, BJJ, wrestling, SanDa, and Wing Chun. Author of two books on the history of martial arts. English professor by day, spinning side-kicks by night.
Coach Mike Jennings:
Owner, Founder, Head Grappling Coach and FCS Kali Guro. Teaches Grappling and Kali. Over 30 years of martial arts experience, including Kali, Catch Wrestling, Boxing, Wing Chun, Wrestling, Kung Fu, BJJ, Judo, SanDa (the list goes on). Medical laboratory manager by day, leg-locks by night.
Coach Parker Gloss:
Head Weightlifting and MMA Coach. King of burpees and single-leg take-downs. Chef by day, arm-triangles by night.
Coach Jordan:
Conditioning Coach. Curator of killer playlists and jump-rope workouts. Academic advisor by day, squat Queen by night.
