We teach all styles, from rock, pop, and jazz to country, blues, and classical. Our lessons are all one-on-one, and targeted towards what you want to learn
Our brasswind instructors work with each student to develop breath control and sound production. Adults may start any of these instruments at any time and be quite successful.
Students under age nine may not be able to start brasswind instruments until they are tall enough and strong enough to physically support the instrument, to reach the valves, and/or to have enough lung power to sufficiently produce sound.
Brasswinds require strong lungs with a good capacity. Therefore, we recommend younger children start with a recorder or piano for initial musical instruction. However, we will consider each potential student on an individual basis.
Since 1984 we have helped hundreds of students begin and continue on their musical journey. We offer private lessons in piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, tuba, trumpet, french horn, euphonium, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and voice.
We also offer adapted lessons and pre-school music classes. We know you are busy and it can be very hard to find a reliable music teacher. That's why we go above and beyond to find the BEST music teachers in the area--so you don't have to!
Our staff consists of experienced music teachers, capable of teaching all ages, levels, and styles. Each of our instructors is passionate about teaching and inspiring students so that practice is not only rewarding but fun!
While you're researching the best school for you, consider the benefits of becoming a student of The Kitchener Academy of Music and find out why we are your number one choice for music lessons!
Trumpet Is Offered By Centrepointe Music Academy
At the Canada Music Academy, our goal is to make music lessons fun and exhilarating for our students, while still providing a structured learning approach that's necessary to achieve tangible results and help our students realize their musical dreams.
Our private private instrument lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes per week (the duration is determined according to the level of the student)
Students involved in school band programs will find that one on one lessons with our instructors are a great way to improve their reading skills and technique, making for a more rewarding band experience
Learning how to play trumpet is a right of passage that has been passed down from generation to generation.
