The joy of baking bread from scratch and the smell of freshly baking bread are increasingly forgotten in this era of the ‘white sliced’ loaf. We’ll teach you all you need to know to bake your daily bread, without the need for specialist equipment so you can easily recreate the recipes in your own kitchen at home.

Introduction to bread and sourdough. In this class you will learn to make 3 different kinds of bread e.g. country sourdough, ciabatta, and rye bread. You will learn how to create and maintain a sourdough starter from scratch and how to fit bread making into busy modern life.
Cooking from scratch is the ideal that most of us aspire to, yet the reality in these modern times is that busy and challenging life gets in the way, and it can be a very daunting prospect.
The course is split into two lessons/sessions. The first session is curry making (make one each) followed by bread making.
