Learn all of the following breakdance moves:
Make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing for breakdancing. Ideally trainers and tracksuit bottoms should be worn for this class. Avoid wearing clothes that have large buttons and bulky belts etc.
Our teachers are very patient and good at explaining the technical intricacies of breakdance. Working with our very experienced teachers is fun although at the same time challenging. Fit and agile and up to date our teachers bring all their break dancing experience to the Basement Dance Studio.

All of our teachers are experienced and trained dancers. We provide performing opportunities and access to performance jobs once you are a member.
Non-members can book individual courses on a six-week block basis. Try before you buy: join the club for one day and see how the club functions on a daily basis.

B-Boying or breaking, also called breakdancing, is a style of street dance that originated primarily among Puerto Rican and African American youths (many of them former members of the Black Spades, the Young Spades, or the Baby Spades) during the mid-1970s in the Bronx.
