This programme will give you a thorough grounding in the practical aspects of bricklaying, enabling you the opportunity to progress to a trade Diploma upon successful completion.
This programme, through a learner-focused progression plan, will further develop your core construction skills at Level 1 by completing the 6705-13 Diploma in Construction. It will teach you the core skills involved in brickwork.
You will cover building methods and technology used within the industry, as well as key decorating skills such as bricklaying. You will also extend your knowledge of the fundamental elements of health and safety practices on a brickwork site.

This Level 1 course is a mixture of practical and theory, with the majority of the time spent in the workshop, developing the hand skills needed to build cavity walls, solid walls, blockwork and the ability to transfer levels.
This qualification is ideal for candidates who want to work as a Bricklayer in the construction industry. It will help you learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in bricklaying.
