Foundation Year: We have a Foundation Year option for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course.
This additional year of study will give you a grounding in the technical skills required for this course, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study.
After successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will progress to the full degree. If you apply to study the full degree and do not meet the academic entry requirements, our admissions team may consider your application for the Foundation Year and notify you accordingly.

The EC-Council is one of the world's largest technical cybersecurity certification bodies.

For September 2024 entry: 104-120 UCAS tariff points including 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM.

Cyber security is an ever-increasing demand within every organisation across the world. This course explores the biggest threats to our data from hackers, malicious coders and social engineers to crackers, viruses, trojans, worms, botnets, zombies, phishing and pharming.
Cyber security is the practice of protecting critical systems and sensitive information from cyber attacks. This course will help to develop your knowledge in the computing and cyber security sector in order to secure a successful career.
This course provides students with knowledge and hands-on experience of penetration testing using current testing tools and techniques. It will enable the students to conduct penetration testing on a secure network using adaptive security appliances, including planning, testing and report writing.
Studying cyber security (bsc) will equip you to be part of the worldwide team securing the human experience in cyber space. Our bsc cyber security course is fully certified by the national cyber security centre (ncsc).
