Linda earned her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Masters in Public Affairs in nonprofit management from the IUPUI's School of Public Affairs. While at Indiana University, Linda participated in an exchange program with the University of Maastricht, Limburg, The Netherlands.

She was able to travel extensively throughout Europe and meet individuals from Sweden, Germany, and Italy.
