A selection of courses over a twelve-week program will give students an introduction to the field of business administration and an overview of the some of the administrative needs faced by most companies.
This program is designed to prepare students for a position within any business related to their general administration needs. At the end of this program students will be able to demonstrate general knowledge of business administration as needed for most companies.
Located in the centre of downtown Vancouver, Canadian College is on Alberni street alongside high-fashion retailers, top restaurants and famous hotels. Our campus includes classrooms, eh! restaurant, offices and a sunny rooftop patio. We also have an off-campus student residence within walking distance
Many students choose to live in our student residence apartments in downtown Vancouver because it is a 15-minute walk to the college, and it is a great place to meet other students from around the world. The residence has fully-furnished single, shared and studio apartments.Note: Accommodation is only available for students enrolled in a CCEL or Canadian College program.

Enjoy the Canadian lifestyle living with a Canadian homestay family. Homestay accommodation is a fun, safe, and affordable way to stay in Vancouver.
Homestay Options
Students can stay either in a single room with a shared bath, or a single room with a private bath. Both plans have 2 meals per day during the week and 3 meals on the weekend. If there is another student in the same homestay, they will speak a different language. All families are screened and monitored. Students with special requests concerning diet, allergies, etc. can be accommodated. Living with a homestay family is a great way to practice your English and be immersed in Canadian culture.
In this course students learn keyboarding techniques using various methods. Keyboarding speed and accuracy are emphasized.
The Introduction to Keyboarding course is designed for individuals who have no formal training in keyboarding.
This program is great for those individuals who are detail-oriented and have good problem-solving skills. After completion of this program, students will be well equipped to enter the workforce and will have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office programs like (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc).

As more employers upgrade their computer systems and software programs, the labour market for skilled Administrative Assistants grows. An Administrative Assistant may move into supervisory office positions as their careers progress.
