This course is designed for anyone within an organisation who wishes to write with impact and style and say what they want to say. It covers the key skills behind business writing, as well as the barriers to effective communication, and points out a number of common issues in successful writing.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, learners are expected to have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.

The course is divided into three modules:

Participants will gain the knowledge and skills required to compete in the University of Strathclyde's Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. Interested participants will have to submit an impact summary of their research prior to attending which will be developed at the training.
