CA (Chartered Accountancy)

Indian Chartered Accountancy is one of the most esteemed and recognized profession in the world with a wide range of career options. Career as a Chartered Accountant gives the option of either to go for own practice or working in different industries at different top level designations.

A Chartered Accountant can work in the fields including but not limited to Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Corporate Laws and Management consulting. There is a lot of demand for CA’s in India and also abroad.

Students pursuing class XII/graduation can register in CA course to enhance their career to the global level. 3 years of practical training with a CA in practice also a necessary ingredient of CA curriculum. To be a Chartered Accountant, student need to be persistent, determinant and committed. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Statutory body under an Act of parliament) regulates the profession and conducts exams in India.

• 1. Foundation (4 papers. 2 papers are descriptive and 2 papers are objective)
• 2. Intermediate (8 papers, all papers are descriptive )and
• 3. Final (8 papers, all papers are descriptive with one optional paper with open book exam)

Examinations are held twice in a year i.e., May and Nov of every year. A student can obtain registration throughout the year and the students can enroll for the examinations to be held in May/Nov based on the date of registration.
