We believe there is nothing more important than taking responsibility for a child’s well- being. Whether working as a teacher, nursery nurse or in the care industry, it is vital you can offer a service that is caring, supportive, fun and stimulating. This course will show you how to develop all of these skills and apply them at work.
What will I learn
You must complete a range of mandatory units which are structured into themes:

You will attend a three-hour weekly session and complete two days a week on a relevant placement.

Printing and photocopying (including colour printing) is available in the LRC. A limited number of print copies are available free of charge, after which printing is available at a discounted rate. A college ID card is required to use these facilities.

The LRC has rooms and spaces available for silent study, tutorial and dedicated Access and Higher Education Study Rooms.
