The Care Certificate is suitable for those looking to  develop their knowledge, skills and competence to work in the health and social care sector in the UK or any other country.  This qualification certifies you as a care assistant in the UK.

It is ideal for anyone looking to pursue a career in the health and social care industry in care roles within Hospital, residential settings, Supported living, domiciliary services or day care services.

The Care Assistant role have been added to the shortage of job skills in the UK. This means candidates who takes this qualification can apply for jobs in the UK and be sponsored by the employer with a UK work visa.

The UK and other developed countries such Canada, Australia and USA have a high demand for healthcare workers. Acquiring this qualification can support in securing healthcare assistant  jobs.

Work Placement Requirements

Students will require a suitable work placement to complete this course.  This could be learners place of work or a placement arranged by us. This could be a paid position or a voluntary position.

The placement needs to be sufficient to enable students to gather the required workplace evidence for each of the course units, and the work will need to be signed off by an appropriate person (Manager or Supervisor) within the organisation through witness testimonies.

Entry requirement: We accept a minimum of GCSE or O Levels. Past evidence suggest that candidates with higher qualification such as degree will find it less difficult to complete the programme.
