Every non-regulated worker in the UK care sector should complete Care Certificate training at the beginning of their employment. Passing the Care Certificate involves both theories and applied practice within a care setting, which is assessed by an appropriate assessor. 

The Care Certificate should be viewed as the start of your learning journey and a foundation that you will build upon throughout your career in health and social care. 

Each standard has its own individual learning resources including online learning sessions, reviews of local and national policy, post-session testing, and downloadable resources.
