Our comprehensive Caregiver Course will teach you the skills required to look after patients and individuals needing care such as; babies, the elderly, alzheimer/dementia patients, the terminally ill, paralysed patients, stroke survivors and so much more. You will need to complete a certified Caregiver Course before you can apply to work as a Caregiver.
We offer a comprehensive and interactive Caregiver Course with practical and theoretical lessons, taught by one of the Survival CPR experienced instructors. The Course consists of 9 Modules, run once a week for a full day over a period of 9 consecutive weeks.
Course Content:
Survival CPR was established in 2001 by Sr Catherine Rodwell. With her vast experience in Trauma and ICU, as well working as a flight sister in medical evacuations across Africa, she saw a great need and passion to educate the public about learning basic life support techniques.
Survival CPR encompasses a variety of emergency courses to equip parents, nannies, childminders, teachers and employees with the knowledge and skill to affect emergency response when necessary.
Course in Geriatrics and basic understanding of care giving.
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Home Based Care Assistant.
