What Will I Learn?
The Diploma Level 2 is part of the Foundation Modern Apprenticeship framework (Technical Certificate). For the Diploma Level 2 learners will carry out:

A one day course developing the skills you have learned from our 'Introduction to Woodwork - Hand Tools 1' course, as well as expanding tool knowledge and skills.
This short intensive course is ideal for those of you who want some introductory carpentry skills. Those who complete the course will be provided with an Able Skills certificate, assured by City & Guilds.
Dexterity is practiced using hand tools and small power tools, with a strong understanding of health and safety being built in to all learning.
This course is more physically demanding than carving a spoon, so would serve as a natural progression for those who have done some carving before. However keen first timers are always welcome!
