G.K.D. Institute for Technological Resources (G.K.D.I.T.R.) is a unit of the GKD Charity Trust, Coimbatore. It was established by Late Cavalier Dr. G.K.Devarajulu, Founder Chairman of Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW).

LMW is the largest textile machinery manufacturer in India, and one among three in the world to produce the entire range of Spinning Machinery.

Training Centre
The Training Centre aims at developing employable skills for easy transition into industry, spanning various manufacturing technologies. While empowering the youth, the objective is to build up technological resources to meet the ever growing requirement of the manufacturing sector in India.
