CATIA is a multi-platform CAD/CAM/CAE commercial software suite developed by the French company Dassault Systèmes directed by Bernard Charlès.CATIA - which stands for Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application - is the most powerful and widely used CAD (computer aided design) software of its kind in the world CATIA is best suited for generating Boolean-based modeling scenarios in shape design.
