Students who attend the simulated training are expected to wear the required safety attire (Helmet, Safety Shoes and an overall) at all times.
The Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) is the first stage in your career path that will allow the student to attain artisan status by successfully completing a trade test, after the prescribed work-based (on-site) experience accredited by the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA). Note that only the CETA has the authority to approve your work-based experience.

Bricklying course is offered by EASTC, a practical training college. Our programmes are developed to equip the person with essential skills in a workshop environment over a short period of time.
Port Elizabeth College offers further study opportunities in the form of part-time courses to enhance qualifications and keep in touch with advancing technology and development.
Bricklaying course cost R7000 and 4 weeks. after the training a student attains a bricklaying certificate. After the learning process a students is awarded a nqf certificate and becomes qualified bricklayer earning an average salary of R62 per hour.
Bricklaying training is offered by Zurel Bros SA for learners. Zurel Bros SA (PTY) Ltd is a multipurpose centre that hosts a number of different skills interventions across different faculties of our business.
