Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) training is designed for IT professionals who already have prior experience of working with Windows (Client) and Unix (Server) computers and earned adequate experience to support the Check Point System. 

You will know how to develop, debug, and troubleshoot different deployment scenarios. There are different learning modules of this CCSE course. In the earlier modules, you will learn how to configure firewalls, gateways, content security software, and VPNs. At the initial phase of this training course, the candidates will get a technology overview of Check Point.

Prerequisites:

• Security Administration Course or CCSA certification (R80 Not R77)
• Windows Server, UNIX and networking skills and TCP/IP experience
• Certificate management and system administration

• Upgrade and troubleshoot a Management Server using a database migration.
• Upgrade and troubleshoot a clustered Security Gateway deployment.
• Build, Test, and Troubleshoot Clustered Security Gateway
• Using knowledge of Security Gateway infrastructure, including chain modules, packet flow and kernel tables to describe how to perform debugs on firewall processes.
• Upgrade and Troubleshoot a Management Server
• Using an external user database such as LDAP, configure User Directory to incorporate user information for authentication services on the network.
• Manage internal and external user access to resources for Remote Access or across a VPN.
• Troubleshoot user access issues found when implementing Identity Awareness.
• Configure and Maintain Security Acceleration Solutions
• Manage, Test, and Optimize Corporate VPN Tunnels
