Texas' population and economic growth have significantly increased the number of vehicles, especially commercial vehicles, on its roads. This results in an increase in primary incidents, which in turn heightens the chance of secondary incidents.
These secondary incidents can be as deadly and destructive as the initial situation. An appropriate traffic control response by first responders can make a significant difference in the probability of a secondary incident.

Traffic Control/Delineation training is offered by Pacific EH&S Services. Pacific EH&S offers a variety of health and safety training courses which have been tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients based on the input from client representatives, observations of work practices, etc.
The supervisory skills, duties, and responsibilities necessary to successfully control traffic are the focus of this course. Over three days, students receive instruction with legal issues such as liabilities, emergencies, documentation, governing documents (i.e., MUTCD, specifically part IV).
Traffic Safety training is offered by Safco Construction Safety Services. Safco Services is an independent construction safety consulting firm proficient in performing a complete source of construction site safety management services to ensure safety compliant projects.
The National Safety Council defines Defensive Driving as “driving to save lives, time and money in spite of the conditions around you, and the actions of the others.” The term Defensive Flagging implies a similar safety outlook and emphasizes the vigilant and protective attitude flaggers.
This 8-hour course provides the student with the practical knowledge that a Traffic Control Technician needs to properly install and maintain a work zone traffic control system.
