In addition to private lessons, students are given regular performance opportunities as well as the possibility to take part in our various ensemble programs.

Felicity Mohr graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) majoring in composition under Dr. Robert Davidson, having studied cello performance for her first two years of university. At UQ she was awarded a Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence and a Dean’s Scholar Award. She has studied cello and piano since age eight and studied harpsichord extensively. Her cello teachers include David Lale, Matthew Kinmont and Patrick Murphy. She achieved her AMusA (cello) in 2014 and is currently studying for her AMusA (piano). Felicity is an active orchestral and chamber musician and has played cello, oboe and cor anglais in various Queensland Youth Orchestra groups for ten years with 2020 being her seventh year playing cello in Queensland Youth Symphony. She was Associate Principal cellist in the UQ Symphony Orchestra and will continue playing with them as an alumnus. She has three years’ experience teaching students from age 4 to 75. Felicity’s especial interests are music theory, aural skills, musicology and music technology. She spends all her spare time composing electronic music and chamber music.
