Our one on one music lessons are open to all ages and levels. We generally start ages four and up, but also have a large group of adult students. In addition to training beginners, we work with intermediate and advanced students.
We can provide professional level coaching and college audition preparation. Many students of the Academy have gone on to attend schools like Juilliard, or have gone into professional careers on Broadway. Cello Lessonsare offered by MacPhail Center For Music
Our string instructors will teach all styles of music, from learning to play by ear to reading music. If you want to play classical music or the fiddle, we have a teacher for you. Students can be as young as 5 years old, or younger with the teacher's approval
Whether you are a beginner or somewhat advanced violinist, our Violin Lessons program is for you. Students begin violin lessons at age 3 1/2. Viola instruction begins at age 8. Cello study begins at age 5 and up
MCMS offers private lessons and semi-private lessons on a variety of musical instruments in a wide range of musical styles to students of all ages.Â
