The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) is a computer based English language exam given by candidates to prove their proficiency in English. It is conducted by Paragon Testing Enterprises, a subsidiary of the University of British Columbia (UBC). There are two versions of the exam CELPIP-General, and CELPIP-General LS.
The CELPIP General test is accepted by IRCC, Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, and the Real Estate Council of British Columbia. In CELPIP General Test, the candidate is monitored on his/her Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking skills. And in CELPIP- General LS only Listening and Speaking skills are tested.
