What makes us different? Live Language is a friendly language school offering student-centred English courses to help you progress. You can realise your dreams in a place where you can feel at home.
We accept students from beginner level and support their academic journey right through to university preparation courses and university entry. Our school is located in Charing Cross, a safe and quiet area of the city. We are close to the University of Glasgow and a 10-minute walk to the vibrant West End and the City Centre.
Glasgow has the nickname ‘The Friendly City’ and is loved for its culture, museums, music, nightlife and shopping, but most of all for its people. If you travel for 45 minutes east you reach Edinburgh, if you travel 45 minutes west, you reach The Highlands. Glasgow is easy to get around by foot, bus, train or subway.
Live Language receives students from all over the world. We keep our class sizes small so teacher-student contact is maximised. Our lessons are designed to be communicative and interactive so your confidence in using the language in real situations grows. We don’t believe in lecture-style lessons.
We pride ourselves in having a professional and friendly team of teachers and support staff who offer a prompt and professional service – essential ingredients for building good relationships. We hope that you choose to join us to see what you can achieve.
Why Live Language?
The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification has been designed for individuals who want to work in schools, particularly in the role of a Teaching assistant or already working in a supporting role in Schools.
Through our Primary Early Years PGCE, you’ll explore how to teach a play-based curriculum and get children involved in immersive and interactive experiences. The course also covers aspects of KS1 and KS2, giving you the flexibility to work across primary education for a career.
We are thrilled to extend a warm and hearty welcome to you as you embark on your educational journey with us. At Manchester College of Skill & Training, we believe in nurturing potential and shaping futures.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) qualification is an introduction to teaching for those who work or would like to work in the further education and skills sector for further education (FE) colleges, independent training providers or Local Authorities.
The Skills for Growth programme is fully-funded by the European Social Fund as part of Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s three-year plan to plug skills gaps identified by employers across different sectors in the city-region.
