Certificate II in Fire Fighting is suitable for emergency response team members, fire fighters and individuals responsible for public safety including production workers, maintenance staff, managers and supervisors.
This qualification will provide participants with the practical knowledge and skills to appy a wide variety of fire fighting and emergency response techniques. This certificate is made up of eleven units; 8 core and 3 elective.
We provide Nationally Recognised workplace health and safety training specialising in Confined space, Work Safely at heights, First Aid and emergency response. We have been operating for over 25 years and now employ 5 full time professional workplace trainers and assessors.
On meeting the minimum standard of competence in advanced fire-fighting, you will be competent to take command, organise and train fire parties and control fire-fighting operations
At Fire & Wire, we teach our clients how to operate fire equipment such as extinguishers, while also training in safety evacuations and fire drills. Anyone, whether they are in customer support roles, warehouse packers, or managers – should ensure their fire safety knowledge is up to date
Successful completion of this skill set meets the minimum requirements to be qualified and act as a Fire Safety Officer (NSW Healthcare Policy Directive PD2010_024). This course runs approximately 2 days face to face with no pre-course requirement.

Developed to cover a broad range of emergencies as considered in AS 3745-2010. Includes information relating to roles and responsibilities, duties, evacuation procedures, bomb and substance threats, and emergency response procedures.
