This course prepares students to work in a variety of industries with an entry/mid-level position in office administration. Graduates of this course may gain employment in administration, reception or customer service.
This course is made up of 1 core unit of study and 11 electives. The eleven elective units may be chosen from a wide range of areas including applying WHS knowledge in a workplace, maintaining business resources, customer service, producing spreadsheets and maintaining financial records, working in a business environment, continuous improvement, teamwork and interpersonal communication, and organising workplace information and personal work priorities.
In all cases selection of electives in the Certificate III in Business will be guided by the job outcome, local industry requirements and the characteristics of this qualification.
