Studying the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at Holmesglen:
Through a combination of face-to-face, online and practicum based learning, you will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively as a professional team member in an early childhood service.
These skills include gaining an understanding of legal and ethical requirements, engaging with young children and their families, facilitating children's leisure and play, and fostering holistic development and wellbeing.
Graduates may work under direct supervision and may also have limited supervisory responsibilities of volunteers.

4 days per week (days vary per group), between Monday and Friday, 9am to 4pm
To receive this qualification, you must complete 15 core units and two elective units.
Elective units have been chosen by Holmesglen based on feedback from industry and staff qualifications.
If you have already completed other eligible elective units, these may be counted towards completion of this program.
Assessment:
Assessments are designed to provide learners with opportunities to demonstrate they have attained the required skills and knowledge using a range of practically based activities and tasks, as required by recognised standards.
