This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to an ageing, disability or other reasons.
Work involves using discretion and judgement about individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
Hope Training College is delivering quality training since 2014. First few years, we worked under a partnership arrangement with another RTO. But, onwards December 2016 we are delivering the training under self-owned RTO and thus helping Students to achieve their qualifications from our passionate team.
This unit of study takes a case study approach to clinical assessment to promote a better understanding of the ageing process, theories of ageing and changes in physiology. The unit aims to equip the student with the skills and knowledge needed to assess older people holistically.
