Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, CHC33015 )

Make a start in your career in disability services with this entry-level qualification. This course will give you the skills you need to provide individual care to people in home, community or health care settings.

The Certificate III in Individual Support has a core set of competencies and offers specialisations in Ageing Support, Home and Community Support or Disability. The Certificate issued to successful graduates will be CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

If you wish to study the aged care and home and community specialisations, you can join the same course but you will study different elective subjects to achieve Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Support, Home and Community Support).

As an individual support worker you are employed in a job where you can empower groups in your community. This role is a rewarding job and a great way to give back to your community by making a difference in people’s everyday lives.

Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work supporting people with a disability in their homes and communities, or for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service providers.
