This course is aimed at site supervisors who have responsibility for controlling the health risks on a construction site. The course is also helpful to Health and Safety advisors and Managers or people who aspire to be in these roles.

Our history
Pragma was formed in 2001 by our Managing Director, Ian Glendenning. First, Ian founded Pragma Consulting which specialised in cases involving dust, fume, noise, vibration and accidents at work and later, Pragma Asbestos which focussed on cases involving asbestos dust exposure.
In 2018, the two businesses merged to bring together all of our experts’ Health and Safety expertise and experience and Pragma and Associates was created.
By the end of the course delegates will be able to manage health and saftey on site in accordance with the current legal provisions and within the context of their management and supervisory role.
This course will cover topics such as site waste management, the use of energy and resources, preventing pollution and water management.
The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is designed for Project Managers, Site Managers, Site Supervisors and Proprietors of smaller companies. The SMSTS course is identified in Approved Codes of Practice as the ideal core training for all Site Managers.
Site Management Safety Training Scheme course training is offered by AMW Health and Safety Services for all skill level. All employees need to be able to perform their job safely. AMW provides a range of training courses for groups or individuals at all levels of responsibility.
This course is an ideal foundation for those wishing to obtain an industry site card. It forms 1 part of the requirements for the CSCS Labourer Card.
