Certificate in ESG Investing

There are nine sections to the ESG Certificate syllabus and (dare we say) a very large number of facts and figures, concepts, government and private initiatives, regulations and acronyms to get your head around.

Qualification:

When you pass the exam you will receive the CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing.

If you have also passed the level 4 IMC exam then you will be awarded the CFA UK Level 4 Diploma in Investment Management (ESG).

Finance Essentials:

We have included an additional section at the back of our workbook to provide background knowledge on areas of finance within ESG. These include quantitative methods, accounting, asset classes and portfolio theory, with video explanation of each concept.

Although not directly examinable, the Finance Essentials section provides invaluable background to ESG candidates who would like to improve their knowledge.

Prerequisites:

There are no formal prerequisites to studying the ESG Certificate. A knowledge of the investment process is useful but not essential. You will also see accounting and mathematical terminology, but proficiency in these areas is not required.

Accounting concepts will be fully explained when you meet them, and the exam contains no calculations. Calculators are not permitted (or needed) in the exam itself.
