The safe operation of fire extinguishers is your first line of defense in protecting your business from a fire. The objective of our fire extinguisher training program is to teach your employees how to safely and effectively use your fire extinguishers in the event of a fire.
Fire Extinguisher Operations training includes fire theory, types of extinguishers and agents, principles of fire extinguisher use, review of first aid for burns and smoke inhalation injuries, and practical exercise using controlled fire.
This course covers the duties of the Fire Watch position who oversees work posing a fire risk.
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to explain the duties and responsibilities of a fire watcher, and demonstrate basic fire fighting skills.
