This course is designed for those interested in portable fire extinguisher maintenance. Student will learn the BC Fire Code requirements regarding inspection/ test/and recharge procedures
Anyone with responsibility in the Fire Safety Plan requires fire extinguisher training. However, a fire can happen at any time, so everyone should know how to select and use a portable fire extinguisher.
Fire Extinguisher Operations training includes fire theory, types of extinguishers and agents, principles of fire extinguisher use, review of first aid for burns and smoke inhalation injuries, and practical exercise using controlled fire.
This all-in-one training course makes it easy to train your forklift operators as it covers safety topics that are critical to avoiding accidents and injuries including general safety, pre-operation, operation, load handling, fuel/battery maintenance, and specialized units.
This course is great for Supervisors, Workers, Health and Safety reps and Committee members who may be responsible for facility inspection and be the first line in identifying fire hazards in workplaces.
