This two-month programme is a great way to start learning about general and digital electronics, basics of electricity, embedded systems, input sensors and their collective application in robotics.
The objective is to introduce students to Arduino programming and to write programs that perform operations like basic math’s, lighting up LEDs, controlling motors, interacting with sensors, commanding home automation tools and robotic devices etc.
Career Options:
On completion of this course, students acquire intensive practical sessions in designing robotic circuits and gain hands-on programming experience in Arduino software programming, which eventually make the robots go functional.
The course helps you handle robotic sensors, computations and motors and offers job positions like: Robotic Technician, Robotics Test Engineer, Robotics Programmer, Robot Design Technician, etc.
Programme Structure:
Kerala State Rutronix, set up by the Government of Kerala in 1990 under the administrative control of Industries & Commerce Department, has been empowering the youth, especially women, through the usage of modern technology, affordable computer education and employment- oriented IT based training programmes.
KERALA STATE RUTRONIX has reached its presence throughout the State and has established a unique identity of its own. It has implemented several software projects for several public sector organizations under the Government of India and the State Government, as well as for international agencies like the W.H.O.
As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of our State and with the aim of empowering women through modern technology, Kerala State Rutronix had launched and successfully implemented programmes in software technology to provide 'Employment Oriented Computer Training at Affordable Cost to All'.
In its second phase, Kerala State Rutronix launched the Multimedia programme to meet the industry demand in multimedia sector and with the objective of meeting the requirements of enterprises from local resources, while improving the skill-sets of trained manpower and to raise their earning capacity. As part of the third phase, KERALA STATE RUTRONIX introduced the Hardware based programmes.
Robotics course is offered by Assemtica Robotics. Assemtica Robotics is a Deep tech startup focused on developing Industry 4.0 ecosystem in Industry and Academia.
Scratch is a free visual programming language. Scratch is used by students, scholars, teachers, and parents to easily create animations, games, etc. and provide a stepping stone to the more advanced world of computer programming.
Robotics Program is offered by On My Own Technology for advance level. On My Own Technology® (OMOTEC®) is a dynamic Innovation and Research Lab that brings STEAM learning to students of all age groups.
This course is created for students who have successfully completed our foundational STEM courses, this program propels them into the exciting world of robotics. By now, they have created 70-80 STEM-based models, laying a strong foundation for robotics.
Today, the world is on our finger tips in the form of an mobile app! Who hasn`t used app to solve their problems in these days? Right from ordering groceries to electronics, we do it all online. The future belongs to mobile app oriented technology.
