This programme is suitable for people who have or are intending to have a workplace health and safety function as part of their primary job role.

Our Story
CC Training Academy was born in May 2020, in response to the rising unemployment rates brought forth by the closure of non-essential businesses at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Given this unprecedented event that greatly impacted the local economy, the founders felt the urgency to provide training to those who are either unemployed or those who want to improve their current skillsets, CC Training Academy is doing its part in helping New Zealand rebuild and jumpstart the workforce again.

This course is designed to give people the essential knowledge of explosive atmospheres and hazardous areas. Learn to identify hazardous areas, sources of ignition and the properties of hazardous materials, along with the roles and responsibilities of all parties, regulations, standards and codes.
A Refresher Forklift Operator Competency Certificate in accordance with the Worksafe NZ approved "Code of Practice for training operators & instructors of powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts)", is awarded on satisfactory completion of this course.
This course is purpose-designed for Health and Safety Representatives who have completed Stage 1 training. It is also suitable for Health and Safety committee members, or anyone with an interest in, or responsibility for workplace Health and Safety.
The training is comprised of the selection and operation of safety and respiratory equipment, hazard identification, risk management and emergency procedures. Also covered is all required documentation, entry permits and atmospheric testing.
