No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Who is this course for?
The qualification applies to those working as supervisors, WHS personnel, and workers in other WHS-related roles who manage risks effectively, apply relevant WHS laws, and contribute to WHS within the workplace in known or changing contexts with established parameters.

Are there any prerequisites?
There are no formal entry requirements to enter the BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. However, it is preferred that students:
Are 18 years or older
Have sound language and literacy skills (at least Year 10 English, or equivalent)
Students are required to:
Obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Provide a valid ID with his/her picture and signature
All students considering a self-paced online course should give consideration to the following prior to enrolment:
Ability to access any required technologies
Information technology skills in accessing and using online programs
Experience and self-motivation to learn on their own
Competing pressures, such as work and family commitments, that may impact self-paced study time.
Course outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry and a laminated QLD White Card.
