The CAPM classroom course is based on the Project Management Institute's, 'A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, (PMBOK® Guide) – Seventh Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 7th Edition'.
This course will provide students with sufficient knowledge and understanding to work as an informed member of a project team, and will help prepare participants for the CAPM examination.
All aspects of the course must be completed in order to receive your course completion certificate. This includes daily course attendance and full completion of the online pre-course and post course exam simulator.

The CAPM exam is not included with this course.
?Exam format
150 multiple-choice questions. Of the 150 questions, 15 are considered pretest questions. Pretest questions do not affect the score and are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate way to test the validity of future examination questions. All questions are placed throughout the examination randomly
Three hour duration
To maintain your CAPM, you must retake the exam every five years.

Pre-requisites
The CAPM exam is not included with this course.
You have to apply to the Project Management Institute (PMI)® before you can sit the exam. There’s a strict protocol as they have to authenticate that the pre-requisite criteria has been met prior to exam attendance.

To apply for the CAPM examination, you need to have:
Have a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or global equivalent
Have at least 23 contact hours of project management education completed before the exam

There is mandatory online pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. It is expected that it will take approximately four to six hours to complete. You will be sent full instructions with a link to the online pre course within 48 hours of your confirmed booking.
In addition, whilst attending your course there will also be some evening work and a post course exam simulator.
