DurationOpen Cheerleading - Open Cheerleading is for students who enjoy learning fun routines, working on tumbling, stunts, flexibility and shaking pom poms! This open class is available for all levels and open to dancers from age 5 - no experience necessary!
We are an Acrobatic Dance school with some dance and technique classes to help our dancers to reach their potential as Acro Dancers. Acro Dance is a style of dance that incorporates elements from artistic gymnastics, ballet, lyrical, jazz, contortion, yoga and acro yoga.
We follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus which has been created in Canada with input from Cirque du Soleil, physiotherapists, dance teachers in ballet, jazz, modern, hand balancing specialists and more!
Acro focuses on 5 main elements: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Partnering and Tumbling.
We offer Cheer 101 as a purely recreational option to try out cheerleading.
Our recreational cheer-leading classes focus on developing the fundamental skills of the sport.
