Our recreational cheer-leading classes focus on developing the fundamental skills of the sport.
Our recreational cheer-leading classes focus on developing the fundamental skills of the sport. We place focus on learning the basics correctly so your child can excel at higher level skills in future and to also make sure your child learns skills safely to avoid injuries.
Recreational classes include beginner skills from the following components of cheer-leading: tumbling, stunting, dance, jumps and flexibility. Children learn skills and work together as a team to put those skills into action in the form of routines, which they get to perform at Active Attitude in-house events.
Note:
Active Attitude was established in 2007 and produced a children’s fitness DVD titled “Beat the Feet.”
Today, Active Attitude’s focus is on developing quality physical activity programmes to assist young people with leading an active lifestyle through recreational sport and fitness.
The three sports Active Attitude encourages are:
These sports provide fantastic opportunities for children to acquire fundamental movement skills and provide great foundations for children wishing to go on and participate in other sports.
We pride ourselves in having coaches who care about your child more than they care about the sport they are teaching. Our coaches teach sport because they want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
For us, sport is a way they we can help your child grow and bring out their best. All of our coaches have their First Aid certificates and are dedicated to continuous education to ensure the tuition we are providing your child is fun, safe and developmentally appropriate.
We offer Cheer 101 as a purely recreational option to try out cheerleading.
