Wardens are critical to the success of the emergency Response Procedures. Warden's roles of checking the building for fire, conducting evacuations and providing the ‘all clear’ to responding emergency services is the front line of any Response Team. Accordingly, the training and preparation needed to ensure that they carry out their roles efficiently and safely is paramount.

The course will allow the participant to understand confining small workplace emergencies and the competency required to make decisions about people’s safety during a workplace emergency and to give instructions on the priority order for responding to the emergency incident area.

This unit covers the competency required to confine small workplace emergencies. Small workplace emergencies may include such incidents as a small fire that can be controlled using a nearby fire extinguisher
The Fire Safety Adviser course is run over 2 days. This course will provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to assume the role and responsibilities of a Fire Safety Adviser in accordance with the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.Â
Training in the use of firefighting equipment is not required under any legislation unless the organisation has a specific requirement for employees to protect life or property. QuickFire EM can offer two types of training in the use of firefighting equipment.
